We'd love to see you...

We’re delighted to be bringing back our Hub Meetings in Spring 2026, and we’d love for you to join us. These gatherings are designed to bring florists together in a relaxed, welcoming space to connect, share ideas, and build meaningful relationships as we continue to grow a strong and supportive community for the future.

We know your time is valuable, so each meeting is thoughtfully planned to be enjoyable, efficient, and genuinely worthwhile. Across the three Hub events, you’ll enjoy inspiring guest speakers, practical demonstrations, and our ever-popular round table discussions - plus the excitement of regional heats for both the UK Florist of the Year and UK Florist of the Year: Newcomer competitions.

It’s the perfect opportunity to spend a creative Sunday afternoon with like-minded professionals, spark fresh ideas, and make lasting connections within the industry.

UK Florist of the Year Competitions 2026

This competition is designed for florists who want to express their creativity, have fun, and elevate their careers at the same time. Each of our Hub meetings will feature a qualifying heat, where competitors can submit their designs before relaxing and connecting with fellow florists while judging takes place.

UK Florist of the Year is open to anyone with more than 5 years industry experience.

UK Florist of the Year: Newcomer is open to anyone with less than 5 years industry experience.

Each heat will be judged by the UK Floristry Judges Guild, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd

place will be announced at the end of the Hub Meeting. All competitors will receive a participation certificate to keep as part of your professional journey.

Once all heats are completed, the scores will be collated and the top scoring competitors in each category will be invited to compete at the final. The live competition final will be at FleurEx 2026 where the competitors for both titles will be asked to create a range of designs including pre-made, pre-planned and surprise

tasks.

Before buying entry tickets for the competitions, please ensure you read the Competition Schedule and Terms and Conditions.

Competition entries must be staged between 11.00 and 11.45am on the selected date. Any competitors arriving late may be refused entry.

Europa Cup and Eurofleurs 2027

The winner of UK Florist of the Year 2026 will earn an exclusive invitation to present their design proposals before a BFA panel -alongside reigning champion Abigail McGuire. From there, the panel will select the florist who will represent the UK on the international stage at the Europa Cup in Spain in 2027.

The road to Eurofleurs follows a similarly rigorous path. In line with European age regulations, the highest-scoring age-eligible competitors from both the 2025 and 2026 UK Florist of the Year competitions will be invited to showcase their design concepts to the same expert panel, with one standout talent ultimately chosen to fly the flag for the UK.
